SYLOR is the only wooden window and door producer in Greece that offers electrostatic varnishing, using a state-of-the-art, fully automated, robotic plant.
SYLOR’s electrostatic varnishing plant operates by applying a very high voltage (60,000 volt or above) to the varnishing materials. The material thus becomes electrically charged creating a powerful electromagnetic field within which its micro-particles become strongly attached to the wood, just like magnets to metal.
Although electrostatic varnishing has been used on metal surfaces for several years now, the application of this technology on wood is much more recent.
The electrostatic varnishing is performed in a fully automated plant using specially designed robotic heads. The movements of SYLOR’s varnishing robots are controlled via a photo-optic bar which ‘reads’ the dimensions of the units to be varnished.
Due to the powerful electromagnetic field in which the varnishing is performed, even the most inaccessible surfaces of the window or door are covered smoothly and homogenously. This, electrostatic varnishing technology achieves excellent quality results with regards to coating penetration, constancy and adhesion.
The durability of SYLOR’s high-technology varnishes is amongst the market’s finest. SYLOR’s electrostatic varnishing protects your wooden doors and windows from even the harshest of climatic conditions.
